GETTING READY FOR CAMP

WHAT TO BRING

Lunch- Your camper will need to bring a packed lunch. Please plan and pack your lunches keeping in mind there is no refrigeration available. We also like to discourage excessive waste, particularly single use plastics (wrappers, straws, etc.)  We will have snacks for the bus ride home, but we suggest packing your own snacks, particularly if your camper have any dietary restrictions, allergies, etc.

Water- Your camper will need to bring a refillable water bottle. Again, we encourage reusable bottles and discourage single use bottled water. We will have a cooler to refill their bottles with.

Towel- Your camper should bring a large towel to eat on and dry off with.

Sun Protection- Your camper should arrive with plenty of sunscreen already applied, and have extra to reapply throughout the day. We recommend waterproof/sport sunscreen that is a minimum of SPF 30. We will also have ZINKA Nosecoat to help keep them protected. Additional sun protection such as a sweet Summer of Surf hat is also recommended.

Swimsuit- Your camper should arrive to camp with a bathing suit underneath their clothes. They'll be able to shower and change out of their suits before we leave the beach. We also recommend a waterproof bag to keep their wet suits and damp towels in for the ride home.

Shoes- All campers should wear shoes. We recommend flip flops or sandals.

Phone- It's a good idea for your camper to have a phone with them. This helps us keep you all updated with travel delays and other updates. We recommend keeping the phone in a ziplock bag to protect it from sand and water.

Jacket- It can sometimes, particularly early in the season, be a bit more chilly than we'd like at the beach, so a light jacket is also recommended should the weather call for it.

Backpack- Last, but certainly not least, a good sized backpack to keep all these supplies in.

Other Equipment- Any personal equipment your camper would like to bring (surf board, boogie board, etc.) must be approved in advance, and we will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen property. Please contact us for approval ahead of time.

PICK-UPS & DROP-OFFS

In order to maximize beach time it is very important that we adhere to a very tight schedule. Unfortunately, this means we cannot wait for any parents/campers that are running late. If you do miss us at your stop you can absolutely meet us at the next one and jump on the bus there. Easy-peasy lemon-squeezy. All campers (unless otherwise arranged with us) will need to be signed in and out by a registered guardian everyday. On your camper's first day, we will ask that they take a photo before getting on the bus.
